AssistiveTechnolgy Workshop was held at Yeditepe University, June 6-8, 2011 hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Health Sciences with the cooperation of Massachusetts University Lowell (MUL) which was attended by several academicians from several major Universities in Turkey.

6th Towards Inclusive Universities Workshop was organized jointly by Yeditepe University, Higher Education Council of Turkey, Ministry of Family and Social Politics, and the Directory of Disabled and Elderly on March 22-23rd, 2012. Totally 360 participants from 88 universities as teaching staff, managers and students with or without disabilities in addition to the members of different non-governmental organizations dealing with people with disabilities joined this workshop and shared knowledge and experiences in teaching strategies of students with disabilities.

The 19th International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA) was organized on the Campus of Yeditepe University, in July 2013, in which 500 international scholars took part.
